Have you ever looked at the fancy jewelry findings and wonder “How on EARTH do I use that?!” I know I have! Well, today is the first installment of the blog’s new weekly feature where I will tell you how to use those components.  I will also share different techniques and tools in future posts!

First up is the Cord Slide Clasp! When I first looked at it, I was confused as to how to get the ends to line up and how to keep the cord attached. Check out the picture below to see how simple it is!

The glue I used is Crafter’s Pick The Ultimate Craft Glue but pretty much any adhesive will work. Crafter’s Pick is my adhesive of choice. I like the fact that it is non-toxic and water based.  It’s very strong and dries clear.  It does have a longer dry time than other types of glue, like E6000, for example.  Its easy to clean up mistakes and its permanent once its dry.  Not only to I use it in my jewelry crafting, but its great for paper crafts as well!!!
